My First Blog Post

Hello and welcome to my attempt to start a blog.  I have goals and aspirations and this is my first small step in the direction I want to go.  First, allow me to introduce you to myself and my family...

I am almost 31 years old.  I'm okay with it.  i enjoy being a homemaker...it's what i've done for the past eleven years of my life.  It's a sacrifice we have decided to make as a family in knowing it will be best in the long run.  I do look forward to a day where i can open up my own boutique and interact with people everyday.  I love to be around my family and friends. I love Jesus and GRACE. I love to make homemade goodies and sew on my sewin machine.  I want to learn how to knit or crochet, so that is next on my list.
I have been married for eleven years to the first love of my life, Ben.  I met him when i was 15 years old at Ooltewah High School.  Considering that we are human and, basically, grew up together, we have had our fair share of trials and tribulations...which, i'm sure we'll have more of....but i think he and i can honestly say that we love each other more today than we ever have.

Ben is an amazing man and great father.  The words that describe him are: manly man, sensitive, loyal, dedicated, honest....HILARIOUS and very sweet.   He puts up with me and loves me unconditionally.  It's such an amazing feeling to have the love of a husband.  Ben is very creative and loves working with metal, vehicles & occasionally he'll help me with my crafty ventures.  I'm so lucky to have a husband that loves me till the end... and he's SO easy on the eyes....

We have two incredible kids:

Alex is 11.  He is my first born son. Enough said? He is such a rad kid.  He really is....He totally has my heart. He is a natural born leader and he has high convictions.  Alex has a hilarious sense of humor.  He's getting big and it makes me SAD! He loves to build amazing things with Lego's and he loves loves loves his kitty, Snuffy - more than he loves his skateboard! He is responsible and a pretty good listener.  Alex loves music and dancing and he's really good at it.  He is handsome and looks JUST like his daddy.  I am so lucky to have such a wonderful young man for a son.  He makes me so very proud.  Though, sometimes, i've been known as "the meanest mom in the whole world". haha.

Warner is 8. He is my last child! Enough said?! Warner is an artist.  He has so much energy, it's ridiculous...only to have a quarter of it.... He looks up to his big brother SO much.  He is funny and is always cracking up at Alex or making Alex crack up.  It's amazing how a child can go from alligator tears to a big toothless grin in a matter of seconds.  Warner is very loving and kind. Always considerate to others feelings and quick to apologize.
